In today's world, social media is a HUGE factor and I can most definitely NOT live without my phone. I mean who can?! (unless your completely inhumane xD).

So to start:-

Instagram
Instagram is a free photo and video sharing app available on Apple iOS, Android and Windows Phone. People can upload photos or videos to our service and share them with their followers or with a select group of friends. They can also view, comment and like posts shared by their friends on Instagram. (yeah, yeah I'm just tryna sound smart af ^_^)

Some of these facts blew my mind:-
1) Facebook purchased the company two years later in 2012 for $1 billion in cash and stock.
2) When it was bought by Facebook Instagram only had 13 employees.
3) 68% of Instagram users are women.
4) Instagram has more active users via mobile phones than Twitter.
5) 90% of Instagram users are younger than 35 years.

Well, today I'm gonna talk about LOMOGRAPHY
Lomography is a type of photography.

Similar to Eastman Kodak's concept of the "Kodak moment", the philosophy behind Lomography is summarized in its motto, "Don’t Think, Just Shoot."^[4] This motto is accompanied by The Ten Golden Rules which are supposed to encourage spontaneity and the taking of photographs anywhere, while minimizing considerations of formal technique.^[7] Typical Lomography cameras are deliberately low-fidelity and of simple construction. Some cameras make use of multiple lenses and rainbow-colored flashes; some exhibit extreme optical distortions and light leaks.^[8] The intention of the lomographic style is one of acceptance of such deficiencies in order to create images with a unique character.
Lomography relates to Lomographic photographers who advocate creative and experimental film photography. The name is inspired by the former state-run optics manufacturer LOMO PLC of Saint Petersburg, Russia that created and produced the 35 mm LOMO LC-A Compact Automat camera, now central to lomography. This camera was loosely based upon the Cosina CX-1 and introduced in the early 1980s.
